About Imogen

I’ve been in your shoes - from the stress of the UCAT, to choosing strategic university choices, to facing MMI and panel interviews. Having sat the UCAT twice (both times scoring the top 1%), attended 8 medical interviews, and received multiple offers for medicine, I now tutor students through the same process.

I began Graduate Medicine at Cambridge in September 2025, and I’m taking on a small number of students to support with applications and interviews. I have room for a couple more before I close this advert for this year.

About the lesson

I offer support for every stage of the application:

UCAT preparation – we cover proven strategies that helped me score in the top 1% twice.

Personal statement guidance – how to structure, refine, and showcase your experiences without just listing them. I offer personal statement reviews with a session to go through suggested edits and improvements.

Interview coaching – realistic MMI/panel practice and feedback to help you show the qualities medical schools are assessing.

Application strategy – advice on choosing the right schools for your profile (whether home/international, undergraduate/graduate medicine, etc.)

I start medical school in September, so I’m prioritising students applying this cycle who need support with their UCAT, applications, or interview preparation.

Imogen has been the most wonderful tutor for me throughout year 1 of uni when I had to battle with statistics and maths; I have never found maths easy. I have found that lecturers often go too fast in class and that I miss concepts entirely and need a more visual approach. Imogen is patient and takes all the time needed to allow me to understand. She will try a variety of approaches including diagrams (visual techniques) and comparisons to real life situations to enable me to picture the process that can get me to the solution. As maths is not the most visual of subjects, this technique has enabled me to grasp concepts I never thought I was capable of. As a result, I was so happy to receive a first in my statistics module and close to a first in my maths module at Uni (something I never thought I could get at the beginning).

Imogen is the ideal tutor for any student and I would recommend her to anyone who is struggling with numbers and needs some calming maths encouragement
