Jemma was trusted with the role of LGBT+ Officer of the Trinity Hall JCR. We, as her college peers entrusted her with confidential information in completing forms towards college funds, and personal stories when confiding in her. She has an incredibly broad knowledge of her subject, and often receives praise from supervisors for her perceptive and often boundary-pushing analysis. She has a particularly deep understanding for and appreciation of Sapphic literature, more recently focusing on the Renaissance. Jemma is always eloquent and engaging, often opening my eyes to new possibilities when discussing literature.
