About George
I have an A* at A-Level in Music and was accepted to study Music at the University of Cambridge. After a year of studying, I changed course because of personal interests, but I am still very engaged in music. My strengths lie in music theory and history, but I am comfortable teaching all the areas of the music up to A-Level standard. I am a classical singer and pianist and perform at a high level, meaning I am well equipped to guide you in the performance component as well. I have a full DBS and extensive experience in mentoring - I'm looking forward to helping you reach your goals!

We will work together to assess what you need in order to do well in your exams, making sure that each session delivers visible progress while hopefully keeping it interesting! We can work on composition coursework, set work teaching/revision, aural skills, music theory, and performance, as well as anything else that you'd find useful.
The sessions can be worked around your schedule so that tutoring is delivered at the best time and frequency for you. Each session will focus on one or two of the areas specified above, allowing us the time to get into it and make real improvements. This system also means that you have the time to work independently so that you have improved by the next time we come to each area. I can set work as required and will always be around to answer questions in between sessions.
