About Chris
During the COVID 19 pandemic I worked at the Newburgh Armory Unity Center as an in-person Chemistry instructor for young children ages 6-14.
I am very passionate about science and mathematics, and I love helping students better understand these topics. I understand that it takes patience when it comes to working with students, and that everyone's brain works a little differently. When I tutor my goal is to understand where the lack of understanding of the material comes from, so that I can work together with the student to fix the underlying issue.
As a student myself I've always thought that understanding the material properly should be the top priority, and that academic success comes as a result.

As a college student myself the content of grade school math and science curriculums is still fresh in my mind. As a physics major at Cal Poly it was very important for me to have strong foundations in high school maths and sciences, and so I am no stranger to the learning process.
I can do homework help, work with students from a book, or help ambitious students get ahead of the curve.
