About Phillis
Bedroom producers and independent artists often find themselves staring at a blank screen wondering how to start. Truthfully, I spent years feeling that same frustration before finding my rhythm. My 10 years of experience in the industry helped me realize that technique should never stifle a creative spark.
I hold a BS in Music Industry from USC Thornton School of Music and treat every project as a unique puzzle. My approach relies on balancing the technical side of audio effects and synthesis with the raw emotion of a song.
I have worked with many different students to turn their rough ideas into finished tracks. Building progress on real songs is the core of what I do.
It is a genuine joy to help others capture the sound they hear in their heads. I find it deeply satisfying to watch a student finally make sense of DAW fundamentals. Connecting the dots between software and art is truly the best part of my work.

I fix this by teaching EQ and compression alongside MIDI sequencing and drum programming. My teaching style follows a real session style workflow.
This ensures you spend more time creating and less time reading manuals. You will apply these skills to your own tracks immediately. I am here to help you turn those ideas into music you are proud to share.
