About Glynnis
I am a museum professional who can offer both art history and history lessons and career advice. Come February 2024, I will have a doctorate in History of Art and I am passionate about educating the public. My publications are freely available online and can offer some sense of my interests. Briefly, these are 18th-19th century French art and history, the political use of history, museum studies, and European history from 1789-1945.

I can teach any age through university-level in general art history or specialised lessons in 18th and 19th century French art. I have also earned a BA in general European History and can teach to the AP exams and how to succeed in history exams and essays more broadly. I like to teach from the object and take interested private tours through the British Museum, the National Gallery, the Courtauld, and the Tower of London regularly. I'm a voracious reader and can curate reading lists featuring the latest and most intriguing scholarship. I have been a post-graduate teaching assistant for the BA Core Course in History of Art at UCL and led specialist tours at the American art museum I work for. I can cultivate a lesson plan for any need, either virtual or in-person in London.
