About Sofya
I am currently a Ph.D. Candidate in Counseling Psychology at Fordham University. I have my M.S.Ed. in Mental Health Counseling from Fordham, and my B.A. in Psychology from George Mason University.
When I'm not working on my dissertation or helping others with their writing, I love to read, take walks, visit my local coffee shop, play with my cat, and spend time with friends.
I welcome any questions about my experience, what a tutoring session with me might look like, and any other related inquiries!

I have experience working with individuals of all ages, as well as varying stages in their understanding of psychology and/or academic writing.
My areas of expertise include but are not limited to the following: assisting with development of a thesis, researching academic journals for research papers, writing organization, and proofreading/editing.
I am also available for longer-term tutoring to improve one's academic writing skills and to prepare for psychology course exams.
I work well with those who may struggle with attention, neurodivergence, and other related issues.
