About Emma
I'm a native Cantonese speaker from Hong Kong, but currently residing in London.
I love teaching Cantonese because Cantonese is a fun language! Have you ever used some words that you learned from a textbook, but were told no one is using the word anymore? It's because Cantonese is a constantly evolving language, and textbooks are mostly not up to date, or never had the slang or colloquialisms in the first place. I find this constant rapid evolution very fascinating, and would therefore like to help learners navigate between the different generational vocabularies and expressions so that they too can appreciate Cantonese.
