About Caroline
- What kind of experience do you have?
I am a fully qualified secondary teacher in Science and Maths, with over 15 years teaching experience in teaching, and tutoring, in schools and online. I also have over 12 years experience as a Science examiner, which allows me to explain to pupils what examiners are looking for within exam question answers. I am a very patient, friendly, encouraging, reliable and hard working person. I have always had alot of success tutoring science and maths online, with pupils gaining the grades they wanted or in some cases even higher. I also offer lessons during all the school holidays times.

I use a variety of course materials, workbooks and textbooks which are matched to the current relevant syllabus that the pupil is studying at their school. In addition I adapt my teaching methods to support the pupils learning needs and help to identify areas of study in which they need help to improve. I also look at revision methods and planning revision timetables with pupils to help them find the option which works best for their learning needs.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach Maths, Science and Maths Key Stage 3 and 4 (secondary), Biology, Chemistry and Physics GCSE, Maths GCSE, A-level Chemistry, and 11 plus and 13 plus Entrance exams.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
I have QTS teaching qualification in Secondary Science (with 5 years teaching experience), BSc HONS in BIOCHEMISTRY, MSc in BUSINESS STUDIES. I am a fully qualified secondary school teacher specialising in Science. I have extensive teaching and tutoring experience, in both mainstream teaching and special educational needs teaching in both Primary and Secondary schools. I have successfully taught and tutored pupils for 11 plus and 13 plus entrance exams, as well as for GCSE's in both Maths and Sciences, and for A level Chemistry
- How much do you charge?
I charge the rate stated in my fee information. £38 per hour, £45 per hour for A level
- Where do you teach?
I teach online, or the student can come to my home.
- When are you available?
Anytime weekdays and weekends, and school holidays any time.

10 to Adult
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
I have taught all exam boards up to and at GCSE in Maths and Science and have taught A-level Chemistry.
