About Luke
I have lived in Catalan-speaking Spain (in Valencia and Barcelona) for over 4 years. I speak Catalan fluently (along with Spanish), using it in my daily life with friends as well as in formal contexts. I have a solid grasp of how the language works (I actually enjoy grammar). I passed the C1 exam over a year ago. In fact, you might say I’m kind of a Catalan enthusiast (nerd). I also have over four years’ experience teaching English as a foreign language in Spain.

I engage students through use of a range of materials and topics drawn from real life contexts, adapted to the student’s needs and interests. I take my cues from the student, helping them to find the best way to achieve their goals.
