About Larissa
I am a qualified and experienced educator with a strong academic background and a professional approach to teaching. I hold an M.Com (Accounts), B.Ed (Mathematics and English), and BMS (Finance), and I currently teach CBSE Primary and Middle School students in Dubai. My training and classroom experience allow me to deliver structured, goal-oriented lessons that align closely with curriculum expectations.

My tutoring approach is concept-driven, student-centred, and structured, ensuring students understand concepts deeply rather than memorising procedures. I begin by assessing the student’s current understanding and learning style, and then plan lessons with clear objectives aligned to the CBSE curriculum.
Each lesson is interactive and engaging, encouraging students to think, question, explain their reasoning, and apply concepts to real-life situations. I use step-by-step explanations, guided questioning, visual aids, and regular practice to strengthen understanding. Continuous feedback and short recap activities help reinforce learning and build confidence.
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, which includes concept explanation, guided practice, independent problem-solving, and a brief recap. Lessons can be adjusted based on the student’s pace and learning needs.
I am M.Com (Accounts), B.Ed (Mathematics and English), and BMS (Finance) qualified, with strong classroom and one-to-one tutoring experience in CBSE Primary and Middle School education. My academic background allows me to teach with clarity, structure, and practical relevance.
