About Noelle
Hi, students! I have had a passion for biology, biochemistry, immunology, genetics, and medical research since I was in middle school! Since beginning my undergraduate program in cell and molecular biology, I have worked on biomedical research projects at multiple institutions, including the University of Pittsburgh and John's Hopkins University. I aim for this unique perspective to help make the topics more interesting and accessible for all, and to bring a love for STEM that I can only hope is contagious.

A typical lesson would focus on practical, clinical, or research applications to the concepts learned, to help establish a working knowledge base that is interesting, easy to engage with, and easy to recall when applying to future careers. I can teach basic biology, but am always happy to delve into the nitty gritty with undergraduate students, whether it's their main focus or just a gen ed. I also encourage students to troubleshoot on their own. Figuring out why you got something wrong is one of the best ways to make sure it will not happen again!
