About Eliso
I am a Georgian cellist living in Helsinki and studying on my Masterˋs degree in Sibelius Academy. I started playing cello at the age of 11, successfully graduated music school and got in to the Tbilisi State Conservatoire where I got Bachelorˋs degree in 2021.
I have studied, worked and performed at lots of music festivals and orchestras across Europe and Asia, such as Georgian Sinfonietta, Helsinki Chamber orchestra, Korean National Symphony Orchestra, Tsinandali Festival etc.
I started teaching cello 5 years ago which was suggested by my then cello professor. I didˋt realise at that time how much I would fall in love with teaching and how much it would teach me about the cello. Since then I have been more willing to help people discover cello or improve them as musicians.

The course is suitable for professional students, beginner students or just music lovers.
I teach the basic techniques as well as advanced and professional repertoire. During the lessons we also play together which makes it more fun and interesting!
As for a professional student, this course will make it easier for you to get your academic program ready and give you technical skills for the rest of the demanding repertoire.
And as a beginner, you will get to know basics of cello technique, learn how to read scores and be able to play every of your favourite music pieces or songs! You will learn how to produce beautiful sound.
