I highly recommend Isaiah. Not only is he a very accomplished cellist and thoughtful teacher, he explains technique and musicianship in easy to understand/apply terms. He helps you see the big picture of a piece while attending to the important details ... like building blocks. He is encouraging and challenging at the same time. His personality is warm and easy. As a parent I have seen my son grow under his tutelage.

Isaiah is the ideal teacher for any student looking to learn cello. In my experience with Isaiah, I have grown exponentially in such a short time. We’ve only worked together for a few months but I’ve already progressed further than I had in the years prior to working with him. In each of our lessons Isaiah comes prepared with materials and goals for us to work on together. His positive attitude is so encouraging it keeps me inspired to continue.
