About Clara
I studied the Degree in Music in San Sebastián with Asier Polo. After finishing my studies I made chamber music with the Trio Nacedo and then I went to Germany to study a masters degree, where I specialized in Cello Pedagogy. In Germany I have been a teacher at a music school for both cello and chamber music and I have learned many things that I am looking forward to returning to my country.

I understand pedagogy as a personal encounter with each student, who has particular needs and an accompanying biography, and who must always seek new ways to grow both the student and the teacher. That is why the ability to be empathetic with each situation and know how to adapt to the path that each one decides to take seems important to me. I have a lot of experience in the field of baroque music (I also play baroque cello) and I have also studied jazz and worked with folk music. I also really like working on projects and looking for ways to make the cello class enrichment on more levels than the purely instrumental. In my classes it is essential to learn to play with other people and I always offer the possibility of playing in ensembles or in duo. I can also teach in English or German. The first class is always free, you can confidently test if we work as a team and decide for yourself! :) See you!
