About Giovanna
After my university degree, I worked as a customer consultant for 12 years in 2 companies in the languages Italian, French, English, German and Russian. I have been living in Rapperswil, near Zurich, for 4 years and worked as a translator / interpreter DE / IT / FR / EN and patient adviser until the end of 2018. I have quit to continue my education as a language teacher for French and English for secondary school at Ph Zurich, where I will start in September. In February 2019 I obtained the Goethe Zertifikat C2 and in July 2019 the CELTA certificate to teach adults English.

I work with the CELTA method, which is very school-centered. The students work very actively and the teacher provides them with the necessary knowledge through "scaffolding", such as new words, new grammatical structures, improved word accent or emphasis on the sentences. I can arrange the lessons in the way that is best for the students. I also like to use language and word games that work well in group lessons.
