About Bridget
Hi, I’m Bridget. I’m a CELTA-qualified English teacher, modern languages graduate and multilingual actor with experience teaching English, guiding international tourists and working in translation and subtitling.
I offer friendly, relaxed English and Spanish lessons for learners who want to become more confident speaking, understanding and using the language in real life.
My lessons are ideal if you want to practise conversation, improve pronunciation, build vocabulary, revise useful grammar, prepare for travel, or simply feel more comfortable expressing yourself. I have experience working with children, teenagers and adults, and I adapt my approach to your level and goals.
My style is warm, clear and encouraging. Because of my background in acting and communication, I pay particular attention to confidence, speaking naturally and making the language feel alive rather than mechanical.
For English, I can help with conversation, fluency, pronunciation, grammar and general communication. For Spanish, I can support beginner to intermediate learners with conversation, grammar, vocabulary and everyday use.
I keep lessons practical and student-focused, with plenty of speaking time and useful corrections along the way.

Lessons are usually conversation-based and tailored to your goals. We can work with real-life topics, short texts, roleplays, pronunciation practice, grammar points or vocabulary themes depending on what you need.
I aim to keep lessons relaxed, practical and useful. Rather than overloading you with worksheets, I focus on helping you speak more confidently and understand how the language works in real situations.
After the first lesson, we can agree a simple direction together, for example conversational English, beginner Spanish, travel Spanish, pronunciation, grammar refreshers or general fluency.
