About Barry
Over my time in the industry, I've work on many areas of the trade working on an array of different apparatus.
In the current environment people in the trade do not meet employers' expectation. I wish to inspire future trades people to become successful and remain enthusiastic and be a part of improvement that would enhance their income in their employment.
The employment status is crying out for knowledgeable and experienced tradespeople. I believe I can train apprentices to become what industry wants.

Typically, this is a four-year course. It combines theory, electrical calculations, classroom practice in conjunction with on-the-job training.
My teaching method is to get the student interested and enthusiastic to understand why the components in the course are necessary to be a successful and viable tradesperson.
The length of each class would be 8 hours per week.
I'm a qualified Electrical Fitter and Armature Winder. I have a Certificate IV Training and Assessment. I have 50 years' experience working in the trade as a tradesperson, Owner of a business, as supervisor, workshop manager and in sales as a Business Development Manager. In that time, I have successfully trained several apprentices.
I can teach Electrical Fitting to Level III, Electrical Machine repairs to Level III, Electrical Mechanics to Level II and pre-apprenticeship in all categories
