About Donna

I have three grown children (19, 21, and 23). I love learning different languages. Right now I’m working on Arabic and Korean. I found a passion for teaching later in life and I believe it was the best decision for me. I love when my students feel they’ve learned something new and are able to enhance their lives.

About the lesson

All lessons are tailored to the individual student’s needs and goals. We will cover all four domains of language learning: reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
I earned a master’s degree in Education in 2014. I do all lessons on Zoom or Google Meet. If you are close by, we can potentially meet in person.
I also speak Spanish though I don’t consider myself fluent yet. I’m still working toward that end goal. my Latin American students say my Spanish is quite good though..

The tutor we worked with was fantastic. She helped my son to improve his reading in just one year. He was two years below his reading level and our tutor helped him, not only improve his reading to be on grade level, but helped him learn to love reading! We are very happy we chose Slimani Education for our son.
