About Ruchi
Acquiring knowledge and imparting knowledge are two different aspects of education. You can read and learn and gain and acquire, but simplifying it in order to impart is a different art altogether. My first brush with teaching was when I was just 12 years old. Hailing from a joint family, I was the teacher to my 6 younger cousins. Solving their problems, helping them with their homework, and making them understand was the best part of the day. After completing my graduation, I further pursued my passion and joined the same school as a teacher from where I had studied. Even after my marriage, I continued taking tuitions. I joined one of the top international schools in the city and was appreciated a lot by my peers. In order to raise my kids, I took a break from the teaching career. Today, both of my kids are in some of the top colleges in the world. I reignited my passion for teaching and since the last 3 years have been taking tuitions almost every day.

This class is for anyone in the age group 7-12 years willing to learn Hindi on a 1-1 basis. As far as my teaching methodology is concerned, the concept of one size fits all doesn't work. Every student is different, and my teaching method varies from child to child. I believe in gauging the child's strengths and weaknesses and aligning my teaching methods accordingly. My belief is that language is best learned through communication. Having said that, I believe that the best way to learn a language is to learn the grammar as well as the phonetics in order to completely understand it.

The way ma'am teaches hindi is extensive and it really helped me generate interest for the subject. Ma'am uses phonetics and breaks down words in smaller bits so that we can understand the every matra used and understand the root of the word and how to say it. LOVE YOU MAM
