About Priya
A postgraduate with over 15 years of experience in multiple roles, I bring both academic excellence as well as vast practical knowledge to enhance communication and language proficiency at advanced levels. I have performed a variety of roles in communication, product development, and retail with both corporate organizations as well as an entrepreneur. My current profile as an educator has been a natural progression, motivated by the impact my work makes on individuals' skill sets and career progression.

My approach to teaching is learner centric, so I start with assessing the participant's initial proficiency levels in order to focus on the areas of improvement. Each one-on-one course is customised to the needs of the individual. My group classes( both offline and online) are limited to a small number in order to enable personal attention. I offer an intense 30-hour course spread over 5-6 weeks for IELTS, with emphasis on writing as it's the trickiest section. While skills are tested separately in the exam, I do not segregate them while teaching as learning needs to happen holistically. I provide daily lessons, even on non-class days as improvements in grammar and vocabulary are gradual. Most importantly, even after the completion of the course, my inputs, evaluated and feedback continue till the exam is taken. I believe that guidance is complete only when the test taker is assured of assistance till the very end.

I took classes for IELTS General Training module with Priya. I needed help with speaking and writing in particular and managed to get a band 7 in writing and 7.5 in speaking. There was a lot of writing practice and detailed assessment even after the course ended and that helped me to finally achieve my scores.
