About Emily

Hi, I’m Emily — a certified personal trainer and holistic nutritionist with a Bachelor’s degree from Trent University, and a passion for helping women become the strongest, healthiest, and most confident version of themselves — inside and out. My fitness journey began over a decade ago when I discovered weightlifting during university. What started as a hobby quickly became my passion and profession. Since then, I’ve combined my love for fitness and holistic nutrition to help women build strength, tone their bodies (especially glutes!), improve their energy, and create a balanced lifestyle they truly enjoy. With years of experience, I’ve had the privilege of working with clients across Canada and the U.S., coaching individuals from all walks of life — from beginners just starting out to those returning to fitness after a break. My approach is realistic, supportive, and sustainable, focusing on long-term health rather than short-term fixes. I believe fitness and nutrition should feel empowering, not overwhelming. Whether your goal is fat loss, strength building, or simply feeling better in your body, I’m here to guide you every step of the way. As a Certified Personal Trainer and Holistic Nutritionist, my teaching approach is rooted in personalization, education, and empowerment. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all programs. Instead, I create customized workout and nutrition plans tailored to your unique body, goals, lifestyle, and preferences. Teaching Methodology & Techniques My methodology blends evidence-based fitness and nutrition principles with a holistic mindset. I focus on building sustainable habits rather than quick fixes. Each lesson combines: Goal setting and mindset coaching Form-focused workouts designed to build strength, sculpt your body, and prevent injury Nutrition education, including how to eat whole foods, fuel your body properly, and plan balanced meals Whether you’re training online or in person, I use interactive check-ins, visual demos, and ongoing feedback to keep you progressing with confidence. A Typical Lesson Plan Each session is structured but adaptable based on your needs. Here's a general outline: Check-in & Progress Review – We talk through how you’re feeling, what’s working, and where you need support Warm-Up & Mobility Strength or Cardio-Focused Workout, depending on your goals Cool Down & Recovery Mini Nutrition or Lifestyle Tip to support your long-term results You’ll also have homework, like practicing form, journaling food choices, or doing a mindset exercise.
