About Rohan

Hi, I'm Rohan! I am a certified piano educator with over 10 years of professional teaching experience, specializing in transforming absolute beginners into confident, expressive musicians. I bridge the gap between world-class international board standards and an engaging, modern approach built specifically for high-impact online learning.

Throughout my decade-long career, I have mentored a vibrant global community of students—including numerous NRI families across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and the wider Gulf region—helping them fall in love with the piano from the comfort of their homes.

My teaching philosophy is built upon my signature, proven framework: the **L.E.A.P. Method** (Learn, Enjoy, Accelerate, Perform). This systematic approach ensures that students don't just mindlessly memorize keys; they truly decode the language of music while building exceptional physical technique.

Whether your child is a complete beginner looking for a highly productive, structured routine to fast-track their musical journey, or an advanced student aiming for high Distinctions in ABRSM or Trinity College London exams, I structure my lessons around clear, achievable milestones. I also love coaching adult professionals who want to skip monotonous drills and quickly learn their favorite Western pop hits or timeless Bollywood melodies.

Why busy UAE expat families prefer my online studio:
• Premium Tech Experience: I utilize a flawless dual-camera setup (including a dedicated overhead keyboard view) so your child can see exactly how my fingers move, ensuring perfect technique and posture.
• Zero Commute Hassle: Skip the stressful Dubai or Abu Dhabi traffic. High-quality music education fits seamlessly into your family's weekly schedule.
• Proven Tracking & Results: Leveraging the L.E.A.P. framework, parents receive clear updates and performance video benchmarks, turning music lessons into a visible journey of achievement.

About the lesson

My lessons are delivered through a highly optimized, interactive "Smart Music Class" ecosystem. I combine traditional piano pedagogy with cutting-edge digital learning tools to create an immersive studio environment that feels as if I am sitting right next to the student.

By replacing dry, old-school drills with modern software and my signature L.E.A.P. framework, students learn up to 3x faster while staying deeply engaged.

Here is what makes my Smart Music Class setup completely unique:

1. Pro Dual-Camera HD Stream (Flawless Technique)
I utilize a multi-angle high-definition camera system. One camera focuses on face-to-face engagement, while a dedicated, crystal-clear overhead view is positioned directly over my keyboard. This ensures your child can observe exact finger placement, wrist posture, and hand mechanics in real-time.

2. Interactive Digital Music Ecosystem
Students don't just stare at a static book. I use real-time digital sheet music notation on-screen, interactive virtual piano displays that light up keys visually, and specialized rhythm-training apps. This turns abstract music theory into an intuitive, gamified experience that kids love.

3. Customized Cloud Practice Portals
Learning doesn't stop when the video call ends. Every student gets access to a personalized digital folder containing:
• Custom-recorded high-quality audio backing tracks to practice along with.
• Tailored, simplified digital arrangements of their favorite pop and Bollywood melodies.
• Step-by-step visual practice roadmaps for the week, making home practice frictionless for parents to monitor.

4. Fast-Track Board Preparation (ABRSM & Trinity College London)
For students tracking toward formal international certifications, my smart curriculum breaks down exam requirements—pieces, sight-reading, technical scales, and aural tests—into structured, measurable micro-goals. This data-driven preparation is why my students consistently secure top Distinctions.

What you need to get started:
All you need is an acoustic piano or a 61-key electronic keyboard, a stable internet connection, and a tablet or laptop positioned so I can clearly view your child's hands on the keys. I provide all digital learning materials, sheet music, and custom software access completely free!
