Lessons often incorporate visual aids, manipulatives, and real-life examples to make abstract concepts concrete. I also integrate executive functioning supports, such as organization, time management, and goal-setting, so students develop lifelong learning skills.
Typical Lesson Plan:
Check-in and review: Reinforce prior learning and address questions.
Focused mini-lesson: Introduce new concepts or strategies with guided practice.
Applied practice: Work on homework, reading, or targeted skill-building activities.
Reflection and goal-setting: Track progress, celebrate successes, and plan next steps.
What Sets Me Apart:
I combine academic instruction with social-emotional and executive functioning support, helping students approach challenges with confidence, perseverance, and independence. I create a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment where students feel capable and motivated.
Who the Lessons Are For:
My lessons are ideal for elementary and middle school students, especially those who benefit from individualized support, differentiated instruction, or multisensory learning strategies. I work with students who face learning differences, struggle with math or reading anxiety, or need help building strong study habits and executive functioning skills.
