About Jaqueline
Hello! My name is Jacqueline, and I am a passionate, qualified educator with over five years of teaching experience in a dual language immersion program in Long Beach, California. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies and a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and I specialize in working with young learners ages 5 to 10. As a certified bilingual teacher, I understand the importance of creating a positive, engaging, and supportive environment where children can confidently develop language skills in both Spanish and English. Hello! I'm Jaqueline, a certified bilingual educator with five years of experience teaching in a dual immersion Spanish program in Long Beach, California. My teaching approach is student-centered, culturally responsive, and grounded in the Guiding Principles for Dual Language Education.
I design my lessons around the California Common Core Standards, ensuring academic rigor while adapting to each student’s individual pace and learning style. My lessons are intentionally connected and scaffolded, meaning each session builds upon the last to deepen understanding and support long-term language development.
