About Ishita
I am a researcher by profession. However, I have also been practicing Hindustani Shastriya Sangeet for 25 years alongside my education and professional lives. I have certifications from some major and most prestigious institutes like Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, Prayag Sangeet Samiti, and Indra Kala Sangeet Vidyalaya. Sangeet for me is a tool to connect with my soul, for self-awareness and therefore I associate music with mental health. And this is also one of the reasons why I wish to teach music as I feel music develops the social and emotional aspects of a person which is extremely important in today's world. Under the tutelage of my guru, I therefore carefully crafted some musical therapies which would not only train your vocal cords, clear your basics but will also ensure your overall well-being!

- Having been trained in the renowned Patiala and Kirana Gharana, and belonging to a family of musicians, my pedagogy is student-centric. I give extreme importance to clearing the basics before moving into advanced versions. -In these online and/or face-to-face classes, I would attune students' ears to musical instruments viz; tabla, tanpura, and harmonium. - With me, you will also learn developing compositions to enhance the learning further! - The classes are meant for all..starting from the age group of 7+ years
