Hello! I’m Amanda, a certified Yin Yoga teacher with a deep passion for guiding others towards greater flexibility, relaxation, and overall well-being. I believe in the transformative power of Yin Yoga – a practice that connects the body and mind through stillness, mindfulness, and intentional movement. With years of experience teaching students of all ages and levels, I take a thoughtful, personalised approach to each class, ensuring everyone feels supported and safe in their practice. My approach to teaching Yin Yoga is rooted in mindfulness, nervous system regulation, and deep body awareness. I use a slow, intentional pace, guiding students through long-held, passive postures to improve flexibility, release tension, and promote a meditative state. I incorporate breathing techniques and mindfulness throughout the practice to deepen the mind-body connection. Each class is tailored to individual needs, offering modifications and variations to ensure everyone feels comfortable and supported, regardless of experience level. A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, allowing enough time to explore the postures, hold each one for an extended period, and fully connect with the breath. My classes are designed for students of all ages and levels, from beginners to advanced. I aim to create a calm and welcoming space where you can explore your practice, relax, and find balance.
