About Naphtali
I first began tutoring in 2003 after achieving certification from Nashville Adult Literacy Council as an adult learner English tutor.
I have taught four learners; three with NALC and one via social media advertising, who was an MBA candidate at Vanderbilt University. This experience was extra special because the student was from South Korea and wanted reading comprehension assistance that he could take back to Seoul to his wife. I used a multi-media approach which included recording our lessons on cassette and CD. Going forward, I will use Skype as I learned tohelp my Ukrainian girlfriend communicate with me via impromptu"flashcards"! There a word and a song with lyrics for every occasion and event in our lives.
The young man from Korea was able to return to his country with recorded lessons he could share with his wife, children and friends and which will last a lifetime.

I hold Bachelor of Arts in English from Adelphi University, Garden City, New York, achieved in 1975 and write/read all of the time for self-improvement. I pride myself on my accurate vocabulary usage and people enjoy my creative words.
