About HUNADI
I qualified as a Chartered Accountant South Africa CA(SA) at a relatively tender age of 23 (after adjusting for maternity leave). After completing my Articles, I was asked by the partners of the firm to stay on as an Audit Manager, which I did. I quickly came to the realisation that audit was not for me and I left Deloitte where I completed my articles after a few short months. I do however credit my external audit experience for equipping me with the confidence to engage with any leadership of any organisation, as I dealt with clients Executive teams, including its CEO, during my audits. I also credit articles for instilling in me a very strong result orientated work ethic; for teaching me how to lead a team successfully, and also for instilling in me a high level of professionalism and understanding the importance of team work. Because I worked on many different audits with so many differents clients, I developed the ability to be flexible, adaptable, learn an operating environment quickly and welcome change. Individuals and companies that struggle to change in an ever changing world almost always fail. Deloitte was my first employer and I further credit the external audit experience for building in me a solid professional foundation that enabled me to aptly execute my duties throughout my future career.
There’s a slight twist to my A type personality. I am also a very creative person. I started my own Interior Decorating Company with no formal training in the art. My creativity is the basis for my innate ability to find innovative and unique solutions to effectively solve a myriad of workplace challenges, including the provision of strategic formulation and advice. I am a problem solver. I don’t allow a situation to intimidate or overwhelm me. I never give up and am somewhat of a ‘fixer’!
Between end December 2016, beginning January 2017 to-date, I left formal employment to start my own business, Rubispan Holdings Pty(Ltd). It is an investment holding company with an interior decorating and finance consulting subsidiary. Unfortunately, South Africa's recessionary economic climate resulted in a volatile income stream which was then also aggravated by the on-set of COVID- 19. I therefore took the logical decision to return to the corporate sector and re-establish myself financially. I have always had a personable but fearless personality which, together with the top positions I held, enabled me to affect changes, no matter how drastic or radical they were, that rescued and turned3 around ailing entities. The combination of my A type personality with my creative and artistic side has served me well and facilitated my unique ability to finding innovative but efficient and effective solutions to challenges I have faced. Throughout my career, some thing's have never changed. I have always paid meticulous attention to detail and worked side-by-side with my team in the trenches of the organisation's, or with teams from other departments, where necessary. I believe it is paramount for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to have a thorough understanding of the technical and operational aspects of the organisation in which they work, in order to be an effective in leading the Finance department and providing a well rounded strategy and advisory service to key stakeholders.
I am interested in tutoring in order to give back all I have gained to others!

I will provide user friendly teaching methods to accommodate the way one best receives information and studies. We are all unique individuals and there is no one size fits all. This approach is critical to increasing ones ability to succeed. I have been an Executive in the Corporate sector for over 14 years and worked at the highest level in different industries. I passed my matric exams valedictorian and went on to study towards a chartered accountancy qualification at the University of the Witwatersrand. I completed my tertiary education in the requisite time and passed both my Board Exams at the first attempt. Due to my intelligence, hard work, commitment and strong self-discipline, I was promoted from Group Financial Manager to Group Chief Financial Officer of a large Corporate Entity, by a unanimous decision of the Board despite being only 29 years of age. I will therefore use all of my academic and business experience to offer top class tutoring and mentorship, if the latter is also required! I am an excellent communicator and very adept at teaching others to gain a full, all-round understanding of the relevant subject matter I will be tutoring them in!
