About Carey Huang CMgr MCMI, MBA, PMP - I am a certified Project Manager, High Performance Coach, Corporate Coach & Mentor, who specializes in leadership, communication, confidence, and organizational skills to support new managers and aspiring managers transform and reach their full potential. My 19+ years of corporate leadership experience in a variety of industries, including positions as a Senior Manager and Senior Project Manager, has given me a distinct advantage and understanding of my clients' challenges, enabling them to become high-performing professionals and leaders. I collaborated closely with senior executives from major corporations to develop innovative business solutions. I am currently working as a Project Manager and Agility Master for the world's largest chemical company, where I am in charge of developing and implementing process and business solutions. Meanwhile, I work with business professionals to help them improve their time management, communication skills, and confidence so that they can achieve their professional and personal goals. I also teach business professionals' communication skills at a training college in Toronto. I have had a strong desire to write since I was a child. I began writing articles when I was 12 years old and have received honors and awards for them. My work has been published in major newspapers and is being taught in schools. "The HAPPY Action Taker: A Step-by-Step SMART Goal Setting and Get Things Done Workshop that will help you become a better version of yourself every day!" and "The Happy Negotiator" are my latest books. I have a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from the United Kingdom (UK), a Bachelor of Information Technology from Canada, a Postgraduate Certificate in Strategic Management and Leadership from the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) in the United Kingdom, and a Bachelor of Education. I've been a Project Management Professional since 2010. I am a Distinguished Toastmaster, Toastmaster's highest honor.
