About Blake
My fascination with chemistry started with observing how everyday substances interact and change, which inspired me to pursue a B.Sc in Chemistry and an M.Sc in Analytical Chemistry. Over 9 years, I have guided students from basic chemical concepts to advanced analytical techniques, helping them develop confidence, problem-solving skills, and conceptual mastery. My approach blends theory, practical examples, and interactive exercises to make learning meaningful and engaging.
I teach with patience, structured guidance, and adaptability, emphasizing conceptual understanding alongside practical application. I encourage independent exploration, critical thinking, and logical reasoning, helping students approach challenges methodically and gain confidence in their abilities. My lessons balance clarity, engagement, and skill development to ensure academic growth and curiosity.
Beyond teaching, I remain engaged in chemical research, experimental techniques, and current developments in chemistry, bringing real-world insights to lessons. Observing learners transform uncertainty into understanding, developing analytical skills, and cultivating curiosity is deeply rewarding. I integrate hands-on examples, illustrative explanations, and problem-solving exercises that make the subject both understandable and engaging. By linking theory to everyday phenomena, students develop a tangible understanding of molecular behavior and chemical processes.
Lesson plans are customized to each student’s level. Beginners explore atomic structure, bonding types, and simple reactions to build foundational knowledge.
