About Ivy
My passion for chemistry began with curiosity about molecules, reactions, and the principles that govern transformations. I pursued a B.Sc in Chemistry followed by an M.Sc in Biochemistry, which gave me a strong foundation in both theory and laboratory applications. Over 9 years, I have taught students at various levels, focusing on clarity, engagement, and analytical reasoning skills.
I prioritize structured, interactive, and engaging lessons. Students benefit from stepwise explanations, visual models, guided exercises, and real-life applications. They are encouraged to reason independently, test hypotheses, and reflect on outcomes, promoting deeper understanding and self-confidence in chemical problem-solving.
Outside of teaching, I continue to explore biochemical research, experimental techniques, and emerging scientific insights. Watching learners progress from uncertainty to comprehension and gaining confidence in their reasoning is deeply fulfilling. My goal is to help students master chemistry concepts while fostering analytical skills, intellectual curiosity, and a lifelong appreciation for the logic and beauty of chemical science.
