About Juliet
I have taught all ages and worked in a wide range of settings, which has given me a high level of theoretical and practical knowledge of the subject, further supported by the BA(hons) Childhood Studies. I have been a PGCE Mentor and a Subject Leader. My approach is humanistic and supportive, kind and nurturing.
My course covers:
-developmental psychology
-child growth and development
-parenting skills
-behaviour management
-safeguarding and child protection
-observations on children
-planning and the planning cycle
-working with babies
-health and safety with children
-legislation
-illness management
-nutrition
-wellbeing
-coping with stress
-age related activities
-age related expectations
I have taught hundreds of students, with a high (98%) pass rate, and at all levels.
