I am a passionate educator dedicated to designing meaningful learning experiences that support children’s development as English speakers, readers, and writers. I have had a distinguished career in the education community working with children to support their learning and development. I look forward to working together as your online tutor. For the past 20 years I have been committed to developing children's English and reading abilities, drawing from my experience as a K-3 teacher and as a writer/editor of English Language Arts textbooks for major education publishers.
I like to think I have a unique tutoring style through the use of creative techniques, strategies and materials which in turn help children master reading, writing, speaking, and language skills. Each session begins with a discussion of your most recent assessment and together we'll plan lessons to help develop the skills you need.
