About Catherine
Mandarin Chinese tutor based in Edinburgh.
Hi 你好！My name is Catherine and I have previous experience teaching Chinese as well as English language to children ages 3 and up in China and Scotland as well as tutoring older children and adults.
I have a diploma in Chinese language from Tianjin normal university and Nanjing university. I also previously studied Mandarin in high school from level national 4 to advanced higher.
I am able to help anyone studying towards HSK exams or national 4 to advanced higher qualifications or anyone just looking to improve their mandarin level.
Due to COVID I am able to teach online via zoom also.

I like to be flexible and adjust my teaching style for each individual student based on which method of learning best suits them as we all have our own personal goals and learning styles. I like to create an enjoyable yet challenging learning environment for each student. The journey is just as important as the destination:D
