About Chuchu
I'm a professionally trained concert pianist with a Master's degree in piano performance from the Music Academy in Bydgoszcz, Poland, where I studied under Prof. Maria Murawska, the director and jury member of the Chopin Competition in Szafarnia.
Along the way, I have also worked with pianists closely tied to the Chopin Competition tradition: Ewa Popłocka, Wojciech Świtała, Philippe Giusiano, Rafał Blechacz and others. I've won prizes in international piano competitions and performed on stages in all kinds of settings, from solo recitals to chamber concerts.
I believe teaching and performing constantly shape each other, and I bring the same attention to sound, technique and artistic interpretation into every lesson.
Over the years, I've helped students achieve strong results across ABRSM grades. Several students I've prepared have gone on to pursue further music study. One had entered an elite university in the US, where the musical background strengthened the application.

As a professionally trained concert pianist, I understand how to bring out the best in a student across different settings. I teach you how to adapt and perform confidently in all of them.
My approach combines strong technical foundations with real musical understanding, developing your ear, your taste, and your sense of interpretation, not just getting the notes right.
I work with students of all levels and all ages, from complete beginners to advanced players preparing for auditions, competitions and concerts. I've had many years of experience coaching ABRSM exams, covering technique, sight-reading, aural and repertoire up to post-diploma level.
I also bring a degree in neuroscience with a speciality in music into my teaching, using techniques that help you practise more efficiently and retain what you learn.
Lessons typically run 1 hour, adjusted depending on your level and goals. Your first lesson is free, I'd love to hear where you're at and figure out the best way forward together.
