About Caroline
My name is Caroline, I love teaching music and helping students to achieve their goals. I have 6 years of experience teaching music both as a classroom and academic discipline, but also as an instrumental teacher. I graduated from the University of Cambridge having read Music in 2019, and I love to combine my academic understanding of 'why' music works, with my sheer love and enjoyment of listening to and playing it when teaching. I am an enthusiastic and patient music teacher, who combines expertise with kindness to create a warm environment in which all my students can succeed and achieve their goals. I believe that music is for everyone, so I find real value in sharing my passion with all students, regardless of age or background. Lessons are adapted for the strengths and needs of students so that they go at a suitable pace, but are also engaging and enjoyable.
I have 6 years of teaching experience as both a high school teacher in one of the top schools in the UK and as a private clarinet teacher and musicianship coach. Please do get in touch if this sounds of interest!
