About CHARLES
Charles received a scholarship to train at ArtsEd London, after making his theatrical debut in 'Nine' at the Royal Festival Hall in 1992 and performing in the original cast of 'Oliver' at the London Palladium in 1994. Charles has paved an extensive career in Theatre including originating the lead role of Emelius Browne in the World Premiere production of "Disney’s Bedknobs and Broomsticks" and playing Miss Trunchbull in the West End production of Matilda for the RSC, he was subsequently invited to New York to play Miss Trunchbull on Broadway. Other highlights include; Dr Gangle in Love Never Dies, and Gordon Shakespeare in Nativity! and Frank N Furter in The Rocky Horror Show. Charles can also be seen in the award-winning World War II feature film "A Call to Spy" (Netflix). Most recently Charles can be seen as Head Judge on "Brillanti Musicals!" Malta's hit Musical Theatre TV series.
