About María Paula
I currently study for the last semester of my Bachelor's Degree in Modern Languages with an emphasis on English and French at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. I did my teaching practice in the French area at Colegio San Viator in Bogotá and I teach some students at the Lycée Français Louis Pasteur in Bogotá.
I also have experience as an English tutor for classes and personalized assessment.

The teaching method for my classes is based on the action-oriented approach. The student has a role as a social actor who also seeks his answers and progress through the resources and information provided by the medium, whether social or digital, and the guidance of his teacher.
Through my courses I try to help students find the right strategies for their progress, which will help them mobilize their knowledge into practice. Likewise, I help them to achieve their learning objectives in a collaborative, dynamic and enriching teaching space in which not only the linguistic part of a language is prioritized, but also the practical part, in its daily use.
Regarding my preparation as a teacher, I am a last semester student of the Bachelor's Degree in Modern Languages at the Pontificia Universidad de Bogotá. I have knowledge in ELE (Español Lengua Extranjera), as well as in FLE (Français langue étrangère) and ESL (English as Second language). I have certified my level of French B2 and I also have a high level of English. I also have experience with children and teenagers from level A1 to B2.
