About Kristina
I'm Kristina, native of Scotland, music graduate from King's College London and I want to help you learn English! I have two years of experience as an English teacher in a language school for adults in Spain and seven years of experience as a guitar and music theory teacher for children. I offer dynamic, creative and effective courses, personalized according to your objectives and interests.
I love languages; I speak fluent Spanish, Portuguese, French and Italian. My main goals are to pass on this passion to you and to help you learn as efficiently as possible. I use a pretty intensive method where we spend the majority of the time speaking, so that we can start to improve your speaking and listening comprehension skills from the start. I also provide written and audiovisual exercises customized to your interests and preferences to help you improve in your writing and reading skills in your time outside of the class. I can also help with preparation towards the Cambridge, IELTS and TOEFL exams and can help with CVs and job interview practice in English. First trial class (level test, discussion of your objectives and priorities, 30 minutes of instruction) is free! If you have any questions, feel free to contact me and we can talk them over.

My teaching method will obviously depend on your objectives and your own personal learning style. In general I try to give fairly intensive and dynamic lessons where we spend the majority of our time in the class speaking. Each course I explain some points of grammatical theory and/or vocabulary, and then we'll practice these points by speaking. To develop your reading, writing and listening skills I provide personalized exercises to do outside of class.
