About José María
I began my Classical Guitar training, taking the Guitar Course (I, II and III) offered by Prof. Alberto Marín at the Sacla Academy (Córdoba, Argentina). Then I studied and graduated as Professor of Arts in Music at the Colleguim institute (Center for Education and Research). And continuing with my passion for Music I have studied and graduated from the University of Córdoba (Argentina) as a Bachelor of Music Composition. I have worked as a teacher, teaching in various Schools and Institutions. I have composed music for different ensembles, for theater, dance / theater and, cinema, and I have given numerous concerts, receiving some awards. I have also been part of various bands, and currently I have a solo project using various instruments from different parts of the world mixed (Guitar, Charango, Mbira, Sitar, Accordeon) with Electronica and experimental music. And a group project called S (o) N Sonora Experience, a group experienced in combining low-frequency sounds, bowls, bells, voices and all kinds of sounds and musical instruments to create different acoustic worlds.

My guitar classes are generally divided into two parts: The first part we focus on addressing a repertoire that is of interest to the student, looking for songs and works with attractive rhythms and melodies. To analyze them, interpret them, improvise with them, and as a final goal, create your own songs. Based on what was learned with the repertoire studied. The second part aims to develop the technique of the instrument and what is related to music theory. It is possible to use other musical instruments, such as percussion or similar to the guitar (such as the ukulele or charango) if the song requires studying. I also teach composition, arrangements and production, which is appropriate to the interest and needs of the student. My classes are 100% adapted to the student's level (from beginner to advanced).
