About Aleksandra
With over 15 years of experience as a professional ballet teacher, I have had the privilege of working with students at all levels, from beginners to advanced competitors. My career as a ballet soloist at the National Theatre in Belgrade, combined with my experience in acting, has provided me with valuable experience that I integrate into my pedagogical work. I hold both BA and MA degrees from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts, which have helped me delve deeply into expression and the creative process in both dance and dramatic techniques. My goal is to create a positive, motivating environment where students are encouraged to push their limits and embrace their personal growth. Whether you’re preparing for a performance, a competition, or exploring ballet for the first time, I am dedicated to helping you reach your full potential with professionalism and passion. As a classical ballet pedagogue and acting coach for ballet dancers with 15+ years of experience I have taught in various international schools. I am currently located in Sweden. My experience includes training dancers who have gone on to become soloists in prestigious theaters and winners of national and international ballet competitions. I focus on building strong technical foundations, enhancing artistic expression, and developing stage presence and storytelling through movement. My method integrates: Personalized training – Each dancer receives tailored corrections and guidance to enhance their strengths and address weaknesses. Holistic coaching – I combine ballet technique, acting, and performance skills, helping dancers become well-rounded artists. Psychological and physical approach – I prioritize injury prevention, mental resilience, and stage confidence. A Typical Lesson Plan Each session is carefully structured to maximize progress and efficiency: 1. Technical Work – Barre, center work, and jumps, focusing on strength, precision, and musicality. 2. Variation and Competition Preparation- On the variation and competition preparation classes, students work on technical improvement, stage presence, artistic expression, and mental preparation for performing ballet pieces in competitions, while also analyzing characters and using acting techniques in the process.
