About George
I would describe myself as an enthusiastic and avid academic. I achieved a first-class Degree in Classical Literature and Civilisation at the University of Birmingham and I am looking to gain some more experience within the teaching world to fulfil my goal of becoming a professor.
I have always loved helping others in terms of studying and I often find myself reading through others essays and presentations to give pointers and help. At school I chose my work experience to be at a primary school and I thoroughly enjoyed it, alongside receiving good feedback.
I am very keen to share my passion for humanities with others and during the process I hope to benefit those I tutor in their studies and also inspire passion in them too.

Humanities tutor at Bexleyheath.
I believe that the process of learning should be a creative and interactive process as opposed to just memorizing dates and quotes without truly understanding the work at hand and more importantly, enjoying learning the content. The majority of the lesson would consist of discussing the topic at hand, contextualising before then applying it into an academic format such as a small essay paragraph or source analysis to reinstate what was taught.
