About Marian
Marian Bennion, soprano, is a current undergraduate at Missouri State University seeking a degree of Bachelor of Science in Music with a Communications Minor. A Lake of the Ozarks native, she is a third-year Resident Assistant and a private vocal coach. Marian is a believer that anyone can sing, no matter the background, history, or level of knowledge. She invites anyone and everyone to join her studio and provides an individually catered experience to her clients.
Marian has been a member of the Missouri State University Chorale for multiple years. She has toured Canada, South Korea, Chile, and Argentina to represent North American choral music, debut new compositions, and has been a part of recording the album Radiance Untethered: The Choral Music of John Wykoff. Marian believes that music is one of the only universal languages, and this is what inspires her to teach, sing, and build relationships with others.
In Marian’s free time, you can catch her spending time with her cat, taking a walk outside, and enjoying the day with her friends and family.

My client's goals are my goals. While I may be the expert on singing, my client is the expert on THEIR VOICE. I use efficient and practical vocalization techniques and warm-ups that are modified for the individual singer. Singing should be enjoyed, so I focus on having fun in our lessons. I am not afraid to experiment, and mess-ups are okay! To me, that is a sign of learning.
My studio is open to anyone who wants to improve their singing technique or music abilities. I am classically trained, but I welcome most any singing style into my studio.
