About Jennifer
I am a classically trained singer who graduated with a Bachelor's degree in music from the University of Leeds in 2013. I have been singing for sixteen years, and have been teaching singing and music theory to both children and adults for twelve years.

My lessons begin with vocal warm-ups and exercises that focus on technique, note placement and breathing. We then move on to working on songs or arias, with a focus on overall technique, musicality, presentation and articulation. Entering for exams is optional, depending entirely on the wishes of the student. I am aware of how nerve-wracking singing can be, and so I encourage progress with positive reinforcement and confidence-building, and offer suggestions for change rather than criticism.
