About Mary
I am a classically trained pianist. Music has always been my passion. I was self-taught at an early age and began formal lessons in 6th grade and throughout college. I have served as a church accompanist, community choir accompanist, and musical director for community theatre.
I received both instrumental and vocal music training at Nicholls State University. I have led numerous groups including over 40 children's musical theatre productions and have won numerous awards for my performances.

I use actual songs to train you to learn music theory, read music, and perform. I accept students as young as 6 through adults. My lessons are for anyone seeking to be a better musical performer. I will begin our first lesson assessing your knowledge and experience and we wil develop a plan tailored to your needs.
