About Laila
Piano/Theory: I have successfully guided students through the ABRSM (Piano and Theory), ensuring a 100% pass rate. I teach students of all ages, spanning beginners and casual players to those pursuing the ARSM level. Each student's level is taken into consideration when designing my lessons, ensuring a customised approach. Whether you are a beginner or someone who wishes to reignite their passion for piano, I adapt the lessons accordingly! My goal is to instil a genuine love for the instrument in my students. I support students in building a solid base in musicianship and technique, fostering their love for classical music. I am a classically trained pianist and an award-winning composer and sound creator currently studying at the Royal Academy of Music. I have composed for world-renowned ensembles, and taught music privately and at various outreach projects around the UK. I have experience teaching piano, theory and composition to all ages and levels, and would love to share my knowledge with you! I enjoy teaching, having written a book of 30+ piano pieces for beginner/ intermediate players that I often use in lessons to aid progress, and I offer a range of resources such as audios, videos, scores, and customised study materials for free!

Laila has been teaching my 2 kids theory and composition for the past year . She is great at explaining complex topics in a really clear way. She's always great at listening to what wenwanted to achieve and was so personable.
Laila is an extremely motivating and passionate tutor! My daughter was on the verge of giving up on her piano lessons due to a previous tutor who lacked excitement. Fortunately, for both us and our daughter, we discovered Laila who re-ignited her passion!
