About Teena
I am a single mum who started at the very bottom of the ladder as an AIN, working in aged care. My desire to learn and help as much as i could led me through my EEN's, then RN's and onward through post grads to today where I am a clinical nurse specialist and run a busy department in the operating theatre.
I enjoy seeing people acheive their very best and take pride in my part of their learning journey. As nurses we meet people at what is often some of the most stressful and scary times of their lives. How well we do our job shapes not only their lived but the lives of everyone in their circle. By helping students become the best they can be, I can help them help every patient and family member in the future.

I can tutor subjects relating to both the diploma of nursing and the bachelors degree. Extending on this I can also tutor on:
- Aged Care nursing
- Peri-operative nursing
- Hand hygiene / surgical aseptic
- Gastroenterology for nurses
- First aid / CPR
I can adapt to multiple learning styles and techniques. I am happy to do as little as proof read essays through to assisting in comprehension of difficult subjects.
