About Courtney
After 3.5 years of study in undergraduate school, I received my bachelor’s degree in psychology. Following graduation, I spent 2 years working as a guest teacher and later as a registered behavior technician delivering applied behavioral analysis services to children with autism spectrum disorder. I then moved on to graduate school and received my master’s degree in clinical psychology after completing a research project examining risk and protective factors of Alzheimer’s disease. I also have experience working as a therapist under the direct supervision of a licensed psychologist. Currently, I am working as an examiner for a neuropsychological assessment office that helps to assess patients for neurocognitive functioning in relation to psychiatric conditions including dementia, traumatic brain injury, and attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder. As a third year doctoral student, I am continuing to work towards obtaining my PhD in clinical psychology with a focus on neuropsychology.
