About Jas
Jas is a first year Psychology studuent at the University of Western Australia, with direct entry into medicine, her interests (amongst many) include culture, fine arts and psychology. She chose UWA because of it's rich history, international student demographic and brilliantly diverse opportunities.

With almost 5 years of tutoring experience, Jas is an experienced and competent tutor. Coming from a long family lineage of teachers, teaching comes as second nature!
Jas uses a curriculum focused approach to teaching, understanding that (particularly in ATAR) it is important to ensure student abide to and contextualise beyond the syllabus standard.
Jas attended Lumen Christi College from 2015 to 2021, a private catholic school in Perth. There, she was apart of the student leadership team, debate clubs, the philosophy society, and art society. She was took part in many art galleries (exhibiting work and volunteering), participated in musicals and received many awards for top of class in literature, English, mathematics and science.
Jas is passionate about ensuring ATAR isn't an all-consuming part of her students lives, hoping her ability to help students plan, organise and synthesise their studies will make these two years more manageable, enjoyable and productive! Her experiences help students understand the pathway of a dedicated student and she believes that her skill set will help students stay motivated, become more driven, inspire personal growth, and achieve their goals while pursuing their passions.
Outside of tutoring and Uni, Jas has a part time job, volunteers at her local hospital and homeless shelter, and loves to paint. She's owned her own jewellery business, participated in exchange and loves to travel!
